SPSS TAKES TO ROAD TO GIVE PUBLIC SECTOR PROFESSIONALS A LEG UP ON THEIR DATA.

These events will help them understand how data mining and statistics can provide an edge on achieving program or institutional success."

Each seminar track includes an overview session highlighting the technology, techniques and applications related to the track, a case study presentation detailing the real world data mining or research experience of a public sector organization, and a question and answer session providing attendees an opportunity to pose their questions to various SPSS representatives.

Statistics track attendees will receive Surveys with Confidence, a step-by-step survey research guide, and data mining track attendees will receive CRISP-DM 1.0, a step-by-step data mining reference. A second roadshow is planned for fall 2001 for professionals unable to attend one of the spring seminars. Details on the fall seminars will be announced later this year.
