Inc. held its fifth graduation ceremony of the Delta Academy, a mentoring program for African-American girls ages 11-14. In addition to the workshops, presidential academy participants will have an opportunity to visit historic sites in Atlanta and tour several historically African- American colleges. Jabberwock is a scholarship fund-raiser that will showcase 11th- and 12th-grade girls from local high schools. Involved in a myriad of activities since March, one of the nine contestants will be crowned Miss Jabberwock and win a college scholarship based on raising the most ads for the event's souvenir booklet. In addition to talent presentations by the contestants, the program will also feature performances by other individuals and groups.
