 SPORTS MEDIA SIGNS CONTRACT WITH NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE
 NEW YORK, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Sports Media Inc. (NASDAQ: SPTS)


today announced the signing of a three-year contract with N.H.L. Enterprises Inc. (NHL) to publish Goal Magazine, the league's official publication, throughout North America. Sports Media has successfully completed the first year of this contract.
 Alan Levine, president of Sports Media Inc., stated: "Revenues from this contract are estimated to exceed a total of $4,000,000 and represents a major step forward for the company. The achievement of this financial goal is based on full performance by all parties."
 Sports Media will be responsible for the publishing, advertising sales and distribution of Goal for all 600 home games played by U.S. clubs during the hockey season. The magazine will be published 14 times each season for the NHL arenas and monthly during the season for newsstand distribution.
 According to the NHL, there are currently 45 million followers in North America and 37 million in the United States. League figures show Goal has a potential audience of 14 million readers within NHL arenas alone.
 Sports Media produces yearbooks and other sports publishing products for professional NFL, NHL and NBA teams.
