UO football tickets go on sale Monday

A limited number of reserved season tickets for the 2006 Oregon football season will go on sale to the general public Monday at 9 a.m.

The Ducks established a record for season ticket sales for the ninth year in a row, with the 42,200 season tickets sold - surpassing last year's total of 40,973.

All remaining season tickets available cost $252 each for the six-game package, with a separate Duck Athletic Fund donation required for some of the seats depending on their location.

Reserved season tickets that do not require a donation will be available for purchase via goducks.com, in person at the athletic ticket office in the Casanova Center or via telephone by calling (541) 346-4461 or 1-800-WEBFOOT.

Season tickets requiring a donation are available via phone or in person at the Casanova Center ticket office only.

Luce leads West in girls 1A all-star game An all-star game is an exhibition game played by the best players in their sports league. The players are often chosen by a popular vote of fans of the sport and the game often occurs at the halfway point of the regular season, although this is not the case for some all-star games  

NEWBERG - Kathleen Luce of Powers scored 23 points Saturday to lead the West to a 66-57 victory over the East in the second game of the girls Class 1A all-star basketball series at George Fox College.
