``It's a family show,'' said director Krystal A. Cutler. ``A lot of little kids will be here, so we've made it more fun than scary.''

The Haunting Melodies concerts are part of a dinner theater program organized by Cutler for the past two years at the food court. Haunting Melodies will be her last.

``I had the idea of dinner theater a couple of years ago, and this is just an extension of that idea,'' said Cutler. ``I'm transferring to Kansas, so this will be the last thing we do here.''

Performances are every Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Oasis Food Court at the mall's north entrance. The Oct. 31 show will be the last.

Based on the popularity of previous dinner theater events, Cutler has suggested that people arrive early to get a seat.

``We've had standing room only the last few shows, and this one should be just as big,'' Cutler said.
