No, it's not the Breeders' Cup Classic The Breeders' Cup Classic is a Grade 1 Weight for Age thoroughbred horse race for 3 years old and older run at a distance of 1ΒΌ miles (2012 m) on dirt. The Bobby Frankel-trained Peace Rules, one of the standouts of last year's 3-year-old class with victories in the Louisiana Derby, Blue Grass Stakes The Blue Grass Stakes, currently sponsored by the Toyota Motor Corporation, is an American Grade 1 horse race for 3-year-old Thoroughbreds held annually in mid April at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky.  and Haskell Invitational, is coupled with Midas Eyes in the wagering and listed as the heavy 9-5 morning-line favorite.

But the son of Jules figures to go it alone because Frankel said this week Midas Eyes will run only if it rains today. The weather forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures in the high 60s.

The Sunshine Millions is the brainchild of Frank Stronach, chairman of the board of Magna Entertainment Corp, which owns Santa Anita, and is in its second year after drawing an on-track crowd of 17,108 during its inaugural running on the eve On the Eve (Накануне in Russian) is the third novel by famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev, best known for his short stories and the novel Fathers and Sons.  of Super Bowl XXXVII Super Bowl XXXVII was the 37th championship game of the modern National Football League (NFL). The game was played on January 26, 2003 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California following the 2002 regular season.  last year.

The eight-race program matches California-breds against Florida-breds for purses totaling $3.6 million. Four races, including the $1 million Classic, will be run at Santa Anita and four at Gulfstream Park in Florida. They will go postward 15 minutes apart.

Last year, Florida-breds dominated the competition, winning seven of the eight races. This year, they appear to hold all the aces in the Classic with Peace Rules, 5-1 second choice Southern Image and Touch the Wire.

But there is a ton of speed in the race, and Peace Rules' chances could be compromised by other speedburners like Hot Market, Excessive Pleasure, Excess Summer and Pay the Preacher.

Peace Rules went gate to wire to win both the Blue Grass and Haskell last year, and never has been worse than second in any of his six career victories.

Jerry Bailey, who finished second to Ten Most Wanted in the Travers last August aboard Peace Rules, has the Blue Grass- and Haskell-winning mount today in what shapes up as a full 12-horse field.

``He's wonderfully talented and an aggressive, speedy-type horse,'' Bailey said this week. ``He gives you every ounce he's got so you don't have to worry about that aspect of it. I haven't handicapped the race yet, but the one time I rode him he broke very aggressively and put himself into the race. He can rate, but he's going to be forward no matter what.''
