SPECIAL LOW FARES AIMED AT SHOWING OFF NEW PITTSBURGH TERMINAL TO
 LOUISVILLE TRAVELERS
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- USAir will offer special low roundtrip fares between Louisville and cities in southern and central Florida for $238 and between here and cities in five western states for $298, beginning Sept. 28, as a way of introducing the new Midfield Terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport to local air travelers.
Tickets may be purchased between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2, within 24 hours of making reservations and travel must take place between Oct. 1 and Dec. 15. There is no advance purchase requirement. Travelers must stay at their Florida destinations through at least the first Sunday following the beginning of their trip. Tickets are non-refundable and a $25 fee will be charged for reissuing in the event of a change in dates of travel or itinerary.
Most of the USAir flights between Louisville and other cities included in the special offering will be via connections over the new Midfield Terminal at Pittsburgh, which opens Oct. 1.
The $750 million terminal features state-of-the-art passenger service facilities such as computerized baggage sorting and transfer systems, spacious concourses with skylights and moving sidewalks and an Air Mall, a collection of regional, national and international retailers.
USAir provides approximately five daily roundtrip flights between here and Pittsburgh, all of which make connections with many of the more than 350 daily USAir flights between Pittsburgh and other cities throughout the nation.
