SPARKS VS. UTAH.

Byline: Pamela Lewis

Tipoff: 7:30 p.m. at the Forum.

TV/Radio: No TV; KLAC-AM (570).

Sparks (2-6) update: Whether it will spell relief only time will tell, but the Sparks, who have dropped their last four games, begin a four-game home stand and will play eight of their next nine games at the Forum. They were 1-2 in their previous home stand. The Sparks' problems seem to be far greater than home-court advantage. The good news is that their first win came against Utah (89-83) in their season opener. The bad news is the Sparks still had center Haixia Zheng and forward-guard Allison Feaster Allison Sharlene Feaster, now Allison Feaster-Strong, (born February 11, 1976, in Chester, South Carolina) is a professional basketball player. She was on the roster of the Charlotte Sting in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) when the team folded in January , who combined for 15 points off the bench. Zheng underwent surgery on her right knee for a torn meniscus meniscus /me·nis·cus/ (me-nis´kus) pl. menis´ci   [L.] something of crescent shape, as the concave or convex surface of a column of liquid in a pipet or buret, or a crescent-shaped cartilage in the knee joint.  Wednesday and it won't be known until today how much time she will miss. Feaster, who is on the injured reserve list Injured Reserve is a special sports reserve list for professional teams to use if a player is injured and unable to play for a period of time. It is used so that that player does not take up a roster spot. In baseball, a similar list called the disabled list is used.  after undergoing foot surgery two weeks ago, is not expected to return until August.
