Sparks (2-2) update: Los Angeles is coming off two straight 20-point victories. Forward Zheng Haixia emerged as a scoring threat in the team's 93-73 win over Sacramento on Friday, picking up for center Lisa Leslie. Zheng scored 28 points in a 10-for-15 performance, including 8 of 8 from the free-throw line. She has not missed a foul shot since the Sparks first game on June 21. Leslie is shooting 11 of 28 from the field in the past two games. The Sparks begin a three-game road trip and don't play in the Forum again until July 7.

Comets (3-1) update: Houston rebounded from its first loss on Thursday (to New York) to defeat Utah 76-58 on Saturday. The Comets are led by guard Cynthia Cooper, who scored 20 points at the Delta Center. The bench added 34 points. The Comets host Los Angeles tonight, then travel to New York for a one-game road trip.
