SOYO Computer, Inc. (OTCBB:SOYO) manufacturer of the award winning "DRAGON" motherboard series, announced the release of its series of slim profile barebone computer systems, named the Mini DRAGON for Intel Pentium 4 processors with Hyper-Threading Technology.

The "Mini DRAGON" measured at 8" wide, 2.5" in height, and is only 10.5" deep. It is strategically designed for vertical or horizontal configuration.

SOYO's new Mini DRAGON features the SiS 651 chipset, which supports the Socket 478 Pentium 4 processor from 2.8GHz up to 3.06GHz with 400/533MHz FSB. It accepts up to maximum of 1GB (1-184 pin DDR sockets) of memory.

The "Mini DRAGON" includes eight (2 front/4 rear/2 on external "bare-bay" enclosure) USB 2.0 ports and one IEEE 1394 Firewire port for making quick and easy connections to multimedia peripherals. The embedded on board 2 channel AC97 Audio Codec and high performance 2D/3D Graphic Engine saves expansion slots on the mainboard and provides crisp audio and advanced graphics. It is equipped with one AGP slot (support 2x/4x) to accommodate gaming enthusiasts.

"Mini DRAGON" comes with a separate "bare-bay" enclosure, which can accommodate one CD/DVD-ROM, one 3.5" bay slot for floppy drive, and one standard hard drive. The "bare-bay" is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports and one parallel IDE ATA 133 hard drive connector with future upgrade slots for Serial ATA. The "bare-bay" serves as a "data reader/storage docking station" for the "Mini DRAGON". The measurements match those of the "Mini DRAGON" platform, which makes it easy to stack on.
