SOUTHWESTERN BELL AND PANASONIC TO ANNOUNCE PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE

 WHY: This announcement will launch a new personal
 communications service offering -- a first in the United
 States.
 WHAT: Detailed information on the new service and how customers
 can use it.
 WHO: Representatives from Panasonic Communications & Systems
 Co. and Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems will announce
 and be available to discuss the new service.
 WHEN: Tuesday, March 30, 1993, from 10-11 a.m. Eastern time.
 Light refreshments at 9:45 a.m.
 WHERE: National Press Club located at 14th and F Streets in
 Washington, D.C. in the Main Lounge.
 VISUALS: Excellent opportunity for visual photography and video.
 Reporters will be able to demonstrate and interact with
 the new service. Video b-roll will be provided to
 television stations. Black and white and color
 photography will be provided to print media.

 CALL IN: Members of the media who cannot attend in person may
 participate by calling 800-424-1935 at 9:45 a.m. This
 service also will enable reporters to ask questions

 during the Q & A period.
