SOUTHERN SERVICES AND ARCADE BUILDING MAINTENANCE NOW KNOWN AS INITIAL CONTRACT SERVICES, USA

ATLANTA, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard J. Matero, president and CEO of Initial Contract Services, USA, announced today the company has successfully completed the integration of Southern Services and Arcade Building Maintenance and will now operate under the name Initial Contract Services, USA.
"By combining the talent and resources of both companies we have created the finest contract services company on the East Coast," said Matero. "Our commitment is to make Initial the first name for quality services."
With annual revenues of more than $120 million, Initial Contract Services, USA is already the Southeast's largest cleaning company. Based in Atlanta, Initial Contract Services' workers clean more than 29 million square feet in Atlanta daily, including Coca-Cola, Delta, Georgia-Pacific and CNN.
The company also cleans buildings in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington. Altogether, Initial cleans 77 million square feet every day and employs 5,600 full-time workers.
"Our goal is to triple the size of our company in the next five years, without doing acquisitions," said Matero. The company's immediate expansion plans call for an office in Chicago. Initial Contract Services is owned by the British company BET, the leading service provider in the world. Three years ago BET bought Southern Services of Atlanta and Arcade of New York City and formed ICS. Last year, BET merged the two companies and headquartered it in Atlanta.
