It doesn't seem to matter who the opponent is, the Westlake High boys' volleyball team keeps winning. And Friday's Southern Section Div. I playoff game was no different from those in the regular season as the host Warriors extended their winning streak to 27 consecutive games with a 15-7, 15-10, 15-9 victory over Redondo.

Ryan Burke had 14 kills, Chris Dehner 16 digs and Travis Foltz 52 assists for the fourth-seeded Warriors (27-2).

In other Division I games:

--Simi Valley d. St. Francis 3-0: Chris Reyes had 20 kills, Nathan Metcalf 36 assists and Chris Edwards eight digs in a 15-3, 15-10, 15-3 victory at home for Simi Valley (16-1).

--Fountain Valley d. Crespi 3-1: Brian Bohn (12 kills), Kevin Brooks (8 kills) and Andrew Biernat (22 assists) each contributed in Crespi of Encino's 11-15, 15-5, 15-8, 15-4 loss at home.

In Division IV games:

--Oaks Christian d. Desert Christian 3-0: Kyle Lopez had 12 kills and Brandon Denham had 43 assists in a 15-5, 15-10, 15-13 victory for host Oaks Christian of Westlake Village (15-2).

In Division V games:

--Viewpoint d. Santa Clarita Christian 3-0: Michael Larner had 11 kills, two blocks and four digs, Matt Mosko had nine kills and three blocks and Alex Safyan added 28 assists for host Viewpoint of Calabasas in its 15-7, 15-6, 15-2 victory.

--Village Christian d. Desert 3-0: Mike Richards had 14 kills, John Mark Wendler had seven blocks and Andy Levoe had 30 assists for third-seeded and host Village Christian of Sun Valley (13-2) in a 15-2, 15-2, 15-8 victory.
