Quarterback Casey Frost rushed for three touchdowns and passed for another as Loyola (4-0) ran its season points advantage to 147-16 going into next week's game against Hart of Newhall.

Loyola's four second-half touchdown drives covered just 104 yards combined. Matt Appenfelder began the second half with a 56-yard kickoff return to set up Frost's first touchdown. An interception by Ramon Estrada and a fumble recovery by Hamilton Augustine led to Frost's next two touchdown runs. Loyola capped the scoring two plays after a poor Antelope Valley punt snap on Frost's 8-yard touchdown pass to Appenfelder with 10:19 remaining.

--Camarillo 21, Buena 10: Running back James Gualt celebrated his 18th birthday by rushing for 93 yards on 14 carries, including a 1-yard touchdown run for host Camarillo (2-2).

Sean Creadick cemented the victory midway through the third quarter with a 20-yard scoring pass from quarterback Joe Siddon.

--Notre Dame 37, Saugus 22: Rodney Glass rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns to lead visiting Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame  of Sherman Oaks (4-0).

Glass scored on a 22-yard run less than 3 minutes into the game to give Notre Dame a lead it never lost. Glass scored on runs of 7 and 45 yards to make it 24-0 midway through the second quarter.

Notre Dame's Shane Horten caused a fumble, teammate Cory Harris scored on a 3-yard run and Kay Borbath added two field goals to give Notre Dame a 37-0 lead after three quarters.

Saugus scored three touchdowns in the final quarter - two by Zach Summers on runs of 1 and 6 yards. Zach Schaffer connected with Kody Kurowski on a 14-yard scoring pass.

--Rio Mesa 27, Nordhoff 7: Robert McCown rushed for three touchdowns in the first half, and Jeremy Ene returned a fumble 96 yards for a third-quarter score for host Rio Mesa of Oxnard (4-0).

McCown's three touchdowns came on runs of 8, 1 and 24 yards as Rio Mesa took a 20-0 lead three minutes "Three Minutes" is the 46th episode of Lost. --St. Francis 33, Pasadena 7: Matt Abbey threw two touchdown passes to keep St. Francis of La Canada undefeated with the victory at Pasadena City College.

St. Francis (4-0) led 26-0 at halftime behind Adey Marquardt's two touchdown catches. Marquardt finished with seven catches for 116 yards.

Running backs Blake Milton had 96 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and Justin Morgan Justin Morgan, 1792–1821, American horse, the foundation sire of the Justin Morgan breed of horses. --Lancaster 41, Granite Hills 0: Quarterback Bobby Thomas had a big game for host Lancaster (4-0) in his return from a one-game suspension.

Thomas, who had to sit out last week after committing two unsportsmanlike penalties the previous week, was 8 for 12 for 155 yards with two touchdowns and had a game-high 65 rushing yards.

--Crescenta Valley 42, La Canada 17: It was a memorable night for Philip Salazar, who led Crescenta Valley The Crescenta Valley is a small inland valley in Los Angeles County, California. Its name derives from its crescent-like shape, with the convex portion facing roughly northeast and the concave portion southwest.  to it's first victory of the season at St. Francis High.

Salazar was 12 of 19 for 162 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.

Salazar scored on runs of 7 and 1 yards to help Crescenta Valley (1-3) rally from a 10-6 deficit with 36 consecutive points.

--Montclair Prep 28, Glendale 27: After building a 20-0 lead, visiting Montclair Prep of Panorama City (4-0) needed a defensive stop by David Viscovich and Berrie Hollie on a two-point conversion In American football and Canadian football, a team may try to score a two-point conversion (score two points) instead of an extra point (one point) immediately after it scores a touchdown.  attempt with 1:50 left to preserve the victory.

James Clay scored three second-half touchdowns for Glendale (0-4), but his two-point conversion try for the lead was stopped at the 1-yard line.

--Beverly Hills 48, Harvard-Westlake 0: Visiting Harvard-Westlake of Studio City (1-3) sputtered on offense.

Quarterback Charles Lansbury produced the majority of the Harvard- Westlake attack, passing for 69 yards and rushing for 25. Lansbury sat out the second half after being slightly shaken up at the end of the second quarter.
