Canyon coach Larry Mohr on the Panthers: ``They're big and fast. They're similar to Valley View (Canyon beat them in week one). This team is big, aggressive and well-coached.'' Mohr said Peninsula is similar to Valley View in that they're big and fast.

Peninsula coach Gary Kimbrell on the Cowboys: ``It looks like they like to run the ball and they play tough, hard-nosed defense. They're not going to throw very often, but they're effective in what they do.''
