 (1-3, 6-3) lost top running back Manuel Murillo to an injury in the second quarter and trailed 7-0 at halftime. But the Swordsmen scored on their opening drive of the third quarter.

Dan Hernandez, a fullback who was Murillo's blocker in the first half, scored from 1 yard out, and Jack Thomas' extra point tied the game with 6 minutes, 35 seconds left in the third.

It was all Crespi the rest of the game. The Celts went ahead 14-7 thanks to Ronnie Lauer's 27-yard touchdown run with 1:35 left in the third. Early in the fourth quarter, Lauer scored again when he caught Cork's 11-yard touchdown pass.

St Francis 42, Bishop Montgomery:Darius Brown rushed for three touchdowns in the first half as St. Francis posted the Mission League victory over Bishop Montgomery Friday night.

St. Francis (6-3, 3-1) dominated the first half behind a strong defense and a series of big plays on offense.

Bishop Montgomery (0-9, 0-4) scored first, on a 59-yard pass from Jon Sarmiento to Terrance Walker at the 7:55 mark of the opening quarter.

St. Francis scored on its first possession, driving 53 yards in only five plays. Quarterback Kjell Nesen scored on a 34-yard run.

Bishop Montgomery had to punt on its next possession, and St. Francis took over on the Bishop Montgomery 49. Five plays later, Brown scored his first touchdown on a 35-yard run.

St. Francis got the ball right back when Bishop Montgomery failed to cover a short kickoff. St. Francis scored three plays later on an 11-yard run by Brown to take a 21-7 lead after one quarter.

Gregory passed the 1,000-yard mark rushing with his second 200-plus-yard game of the season. He gave Canyon (6-3, 3-1) a 26-6 lead with a 9-yard touchdown run with 4:19 left in the third quarter.

Hamilton has appeared in scores of television commercials.  also had a huge game, running for 136 yards and two touchdowns and throwing for a third. Valencia later took advantage with a successful on-side kick. Lorenzo Deliso recovered at the Vikings' 30-yard line to set up Hamilton's run, which gave Valencia a 28-14 lead.

Wide receiver Ben Scott caught four passes for 113 yards and a touchdown as the Warriors built a 31-0 halftime lead. Eagles turnovers lead to 10 Carpineria points - a 9-yard touchdown pass to Jason Requejo from Paradis and a 28-yard field goal by German Sotelo.

Chaminade 32, Harvard-Westlake 12: Chaminade quarterback Ray Rodriquez completed 19 of 28 passes for 239 yards, including two for touchdowns, to lead the host Eagles (3-6, 2-2) to a Mission League victory.

Eagles running back Matthew Markis finished with 130 yards rushing on 19 carries, including a 5-yard touchdown run.

Eagle receiver Justin Stewart caught six passes for 113 yards, including a touchdown pass of 16 yards. He also had an interception and a recovered punt fumble.

Late in the second quarter, following a 4-yard touchdown run from Derek Suguitan, came what may have been the play of the game for the Knights.

Dirksen hit Chad Vojtech on the left sideline and the wide receiver appeared to be going out of bounds. Stopping quickly, Vojtech did a complete change of direction, faking out two Marshall defenders, and sprinted into the end zone for a 31-yard touchdown pass.
