VALENCIA - Melanie Ervin doesn't consider herself a hero, but she is probably the only person on the Valencia High girls' soccer team who feels that way.

Ervin scored the game-winner with just under three minutes "Three Minutes" is the 46th episode of Lost. It is the twenty-second episode of the second season. The episode was directed by Stephen Williams, and written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It first aired on May 17, 2006 on ABC.  remaining in overtime to lead the Vikings to a 2-1 victory over Highland of Palmdale in a Southern Section Division II playoff game Noun 1. playoff game - one game in the series of games constituting a playoff

``I was just in the right place in the right time,'' Ervin said. ``It's just part of the game.''

As a result, Valencia (15-3-1) advances to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in school history. The Vikings (15-3-1) will face Northwood on Tuesday at a site to be determined.

``It's exciting, but we're still not satisfied,'' Summers said. ``We really want to win CIF (1) (Common Intermediate Format) A standard video format used in videoconferencing. CIF formats are defined by their resolution, and standards both above and below the original resolution have been established. The original CIF is also known as Full CIF (FCIF).  (Southern Section) and this is just the first step.''

Although the Vikings finished second to Canyon in the Foothill League, Summers believes her team might be starting to click at the right time.

``We've been trying people in different places, and now we know what our strengths are and we know what our weaknesses are,'' she said. ``We know what we need to do to win and I think that's big going into the playoffs.''

Sahar Haghdan tied it for Highland (13-7-3) in the 65th minute when she took a perfect crossing pass from Kari Noonan on the right side of the goal and put the ball past Valencia goalie Alena Martinez.
