SOURCE, Inc., the nation's leading telecommunications equipment remarketer, announced today it has been awarded its own GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. Its goal is to promote GSM as the worldwide mobile communications standard. See GSM Association and GSM.  Federal Supply Schedule contract from the General Services Administration The General Services Administration (GSA) was established by section 101 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (40 U.S.C.A. § 751). The GSA sets policy for and manages government property and records.  of the U.S. Government. Also known as a GSA Multiple Awards Schedule Contract, the SOURCE schedule contract is the only one that includes recertified telecommunications equipment in the nation. The schedule allows any Federal Agency to easily buy recertified telecommunications equipment, repair services, and installation from SOURCE without engaging in full and open competition.

Federal agencies can now order equipment and services from SOURCE by simply issuing a purchase order that references the schedule contract number. The award simplifies the ordering process for agencies by eliminating the requirement to advertise or to request solicitations from other providers for service or product procurement The fancy word for "purchasing." The procurement department within an organization manages all the major purchases. .

Awarded July 16, 2001, contract No.GS-35F-0499L includes catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library. Customers can check this data by via the Internet, or by a direct phone call to SOURCE."
