SONY INTEGRATES PIXELWORKS IMAGEPROCESSOR ARCHITECTURE INTO HOME THEATER SYSTEM.Pixelworks announced that Sony Corp. selected its highly integrated ImageProcessor Architecture to deliver state-of-the- art video and computer performance in Sony's first widescreen, front-projection home theater system. The ImageProcessor Architecture from Pixelworks enables Sony's VPL-VW10HT system to display a rich variety of entertainment content. The VPL-VW10HT widescreen projector uses Pixelworks' powerful "system-on-a-chip" Ics and embedded software to impress the most demanding home theater enthusiasts with unparalleled versatility, including HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture.
