SONICWALL SELECTED FOR JENNY CRAIG NETWORK UPGRADE.

SonicWALL, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNWL), Sunnyvale, Calif., has announced that Jenny Craig, one of the world's largest weight management service companies, has chosen SonicWALL's integrated managed security products to protect its many Centres across North America. National technology consulting and integration firm IGMAS Technologies, Inc. helped select SonicWALL technology as the security backbone for the updated network infrastructure, which it will deploy in Jenny Craig Centres over the next six months.

Supporting more than 3,000 employees and 500 Centres in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Jenny Craig's previous network was approaching the limits of its capabilities. The company worked with IGMAS to design, test and install an upgraded Wide Area Network (WAN) in North America, incorporating new technologies in all aspects of the infrastructure, from state of the art servers and security products to updated applications. SonicWALL technology was chosen for its winning combination of dynamic wired and wireless security, robust connectivity, and easy-to-use management.

In place of the existing firewalls, IGMAS selected SonicWALL PRO and TZ Series deep packet inspection comprehensive appliances running Unified Threat Management services, plus SonicWALL's Global Management System policy and management software for central management and monitoring running at the corporate datacenter. "We chose the TZ 170 SP Wireless appliances, with dial-up failover capabilities for the Centres to provide an ultra-stable wide area network connection," said Michael Breindel, president of IGMAS. "The secure wireless capability means that we won't need to run cabling in locations where wiring doesn't exist, and we avoid the other usual tangle of cables by also using wireless printers in the Centres. The objective is to provide easy-to-use technology that promotes productivity and leaves the field staff free to help their clients achieve personal well-being."

After a successful pilot in Jenny Craig's local Centres, the company has established an aggressive rollout schedule which IGMAS will undertake over the next six months. At each of the 500 plus locations, IGMAS project staff will install and upgrade network equipment applications, printers and a variety of security products hosted by the SonicWALL TZ 170 SP Wireless firewall. These new SonicWALL appliances provide dial-up failover for the Centres' connections to the corporate WAN.

Each Centre connects over a WAN back to one of two SonicWALL PRO 5060 gigabit firewalls in a high-availability, failover configuration. IGMAS will also link the entire security backbone together using SonicWALL's Global Management System (GMS) software so that Jenny Craig's IT staff will be able centrally manage and deploy security policy configurations on the completed network.
