SOLX Establishes International Certification Program.


Glaucoma Specialists Receive Clinical Training and Surgical Support

BOSTON -- SOLX([R]), the glaucoma division of OccuLogix([R]), Inc., announced the initiation of its international training and certification program. Ophthalmologists in Europe and the Middle East can now become certified to perform surgical implantation procedures using SOLX Gold Micro-Shunt products (GMS GMS Greater Mekong Subregion

An educational symposium was held this morning at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas prior to the commencement of the 110th American Academy of Ophthalmology The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) is a medical association of ophthalmologists–medical doctors (MDs) specializing in eye care and surgery).

Additional didactic training sessions are being offered internationally at various locations and can be located at www.solx.com. Surgical certification, which includes implantation of the GMS, is performed at the surgeon's own practice.
