Accepting the award for Appleton was Ted Goodwin, vice president of technology. Appleton operates in four business segments: coated solutions; thermal and advanced technical products; security products; and performance packaging. While Appleton retains its traditional carbonless paper business, it is aggressively developing new paper products and products outside the traditional paper industry. Its employees own the company. Accepting the Award for VCP was J.C.
