Version 8.65 offers many new features, including a new document link capability, which enables users to easily access virtually any document type (i.e. PDF, DOC, TXT, HTML, URL, etc.) from within the Vision program for viewing. Several court rules interface enhancements have also been added in Vision SQL 8.65, including the ability to permanently suppress formulas from court rules calculated events for added customization.

"For example, users can now make global changes across multiple rule sets to event descriptions; they can globally change the rules descriptions to lower case; and attorneys can now search for particular events by Key Code, Authority, Description or Category. All of these convenient features extend Vision SQL's ease-of-use and flexibility for the legal professional."

Additional features included in Vision SQL version 8.65 include the following:

The New Text Replace feature which allows users to search and replace text in the explanation of selected events from the Event list;

An outline view, available from within the event list of the Matter Folder, so users can easily determine the relationship between key and related events for a specific matter;

The ability to add a regular non-court ruled event to an event group;

The ability to rename the "Completed" check box for events, allowing users to provide the appropriate completion date;

The ability to view formulas used to schedule events by right clicking on the item in the event list or on the Event Entry screen.
