Solid Systems, Inc., an established data hosting and technology solutions provider, has selected NetScreen-1000 Gigabit Security Systems and NetScreen-5 and NetScreen-10 integrated security appliances to deliver the company's managed firewall and virtual private network (VPN) services.

The NetScreen-1000 is the industry's first gigabit speed security solution, and is well suited for demanding, high-traffic environments such as Solid Systems' data centers. The product's Virtual Systems architecture also makes it the only solution that enables Solid Systems to use a single device to offer discrete security policies and billing for up to 100 different customers. This feature lowers equipment costs and simplifies the management and delivery of network services.
