Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, - Army Cpl. Adam Hobbs has watched his son grow via digital photographs his mother sends. He lines the walls around his bunk with them, seeing how his boy has learned to crawl and squirm with restlessness, and how is hair has become blonder. But on Friday, after serving eight months on Iraq's northeast border, Hobbs saw his son for real and marveled at all the changes in 16-month-old William that a camera lens didn't pick up. ``He's huge!'' Hobbs said softly in wonderment, after kissing William on the cheek. ``Look at his lashes. Jeez jeez interj. Used to express surprise or annoyance. [Alteration of Jesus1.] , he's got teeth!'' Hobbs, 23, has been stationed in Baquabah, Iraq, as part of the 4th Military Police Company of the Fourth Infantry Division. A few days ago, he was told he had two weeks' leave, he said. ``I just said, OK!'' he said as he sat in his family's home in Valencia, where the front of the house was decorated with balloons and banners welcoming him home. ``Most people just want to come home. We live in the not-so-great area. I wash my clothes in a bucket. Up near Tikrit, those guys have washing machines (storage) washing machine - An old-style 14-inch hard disk in a floor-standing cabinet. So called because of the size of the cabinet and the "top-loading" access to the media packs - and, of course, they were always set on "spin cycle". .''
