SOFTROCK PETORLEUMS - CORPORATE UPDATE.

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1995--SOFTROCK PETROLEUMS (Alberta Stock Exchange:STZ) Softrock announces its intention of pursuing an active domestic and foreign "Hardrock" mineral exploration program. Further details will be announced as various agreements now being processed are formalized. Softrock will, of course, continue to remain active in drilling for oil and gas, primarily in Alberta. The directors have injected $38,000.00 into the Treasury by their exercise of original stock options. Softrock trades on the Alberta Stock Exchange under the symbol STZ.
