SOFTBANK Corporation Announces Creation of SOFTBANK COMDEX Inc.


NEEDHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 1995--Following the recently completed acquisition of the Trade Show Division of The Interface Group, SOFTBANK Corporation has announced that the name for the new company is SOFTBANK COMDEX See COMDEX.  Inc. As previously stated, the transaction includes all seventeen Information Technology trade shows and conferences, including COMDEX The former, premier computer trade show in the U.S. Although it grew into an end user event, it was originally created for dealers and distributors (it was the COMputer Dealers EXposition).  events worldwide.

All 217 employees of the Trade Show Division are now employees of the new company, including the entire management team headed by Jason E. Chudnofsky, who becomes President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of SOFTBANK COMDEX.
