Six Big League players (Kristi DiMarco, Jennifer Durost, Ruth Gleich, Summer Richardson, Amber Slaton and Alena Valdez) were on the 1996 team. CSUN-bound Richardson pitched District 51 into the World Series by shutting down Hawaii 12-1 in the regional final Thursday night at Palmdale Massari Park.
