After graduating from North Hollywood in 2003 she decided to forgo her softball dreams and focus on school, but Reguengo's love for the game was too strong for her to ignore. Last spring, she signed to play for the softball team at Valley College, a program struggling for respectability and wins, but when Valley College made a run to the Community College playoffs this year under coach Frankie Garcia, Reguengo began to get looks from four-year universities. This summer, Reguengo and two other Valley College players were rewarded for their perseverance with scholarships. Reguengo and former Monroe High pitcher Amanda Salazar will play for Mayville (N.D.) State University. Teammate Lorena Arreguin, a former San Fernando San Fernando, city, Argentina San Fernando (săn fərnăn`dō), city (1991 pop. 144,761), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina. It is a district administrative center in the Greater Buenos Aires area.
