Amy Rosson knew a large part of Calabasas High's offense was missing without Heather Bell and Sara Hall Sara Hall is a social democratic candidate in the 2007 Ontario election, representing the New Democratic Party of Ontario (NDP) in the Parry Sound-Muskoka electoral district. While in university, she majored in Political Science and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1994. . She was well aware of Westlake's ability and surely she knew the Warriors had played a much tougher schedule than the Coyotes.

She knew, but Rosson didn't care.

She went out and pitched a nine-inning, three-hit shutout, striking out 11 to lift Calabasas to a 1-0 victory over the Warriors on Friday in the first round of the Southern Section Division III
