Sources close to Simpson told the newspaper that the complaint was filed by the mother of a student who attends school with Sydney.

``It was late. The kids were ready for bed and they had to deal with this. They sat on O.J.'s lap and answered questions,'' Ysias said.

Sydney apparently told a friend that her father made the comment that the civil jury ``was going to take away all his money.''
