SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION AWARDS UNISYS $7.7 MILLION MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

 MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) announced today that it has been awarded a five-year $7.7 million maintenance contract by the Social Security Administration's Office of Acquisition and Grants.
 The contract calls for Unisys to maintain government-owned IBM 3174 and 3274 network controllers, 3270 terminals and printers, as well as equipment relocations. Services will be provided at more than 1,500 Social Security Administration offices nationwide.
 "This contract award signifies an important step for Unisys as a total systems integrator and services provider," said James F. McGuirk II, president of the Federal Systems division of Unisys. "The Social Security Administration chose our services capabilities through the competitive process."
