Wednesday at El Camino Real High, but there was one slight problem.

No referees showed up for the game.

Players from both teams milled around for about 30 minutes after the scheduled 3 p.m. start, or they practiced shooting or various ball skills, then they relaxed in the shade. And relaxed. Until about 4:30 p.m., when it was decided to postpone post·pone

the game and play it today at 3 p.m. at El Camino Real.

``Well, at first they thought it might be traffic,'' said El Camino Real assistant principal Larry Markle. ``We know it isn't now. Perhaps they didn't assign anyone to the game, that's the likely scenario. We'll just play the game (today). It's a shame, because I'm sure some people had to take off from work and the kids were excited to play.''

The Conquistadores, who are 17-4-2 and seeded third, defeated Bell 3-0 in the first round. Chatsworth (8-6-3), the No. 19 seed, beat 14th-seeded Palisades Palisades, cliffs along the west bank of the Hudson River, NE N.J. and SE N.Y., extending from N of Jersey City, N.J., to the vicinity of Piermont, N.Y., with a general altitude of from 350 ft to 550 ft (107–168 m).  on penalty kicks 4-2 in its first-round game.

Monroe 2, Jefferson 1: With about 15 minutes remaining in the second half, the 12th-seeded Vikings decided they just weren't ready to have their season end as they rallied to upset fifth-seeded and host Jefferson.

Jose Gomez scored the winning goal with 10 minutes left in the game for Monroe (11-3-2).

Monroe goalie Jonathan Mullings had three saves and managed to have his team enter halftime tied at 0-0. But 20 minutes into the second half, he miscalculated a pass to help give Jefferson a goal and a 1-0 lead.
