SOCCER ROUNDUP: CHIVAS USA WINS IN OT, ADVANCES IN U.S. OPEN CUP.

Chicago and FC Dallas also won third-round matches, but Real Salt Lake fell 6-4 in overtime at Minnesota of the USL's First Division.

--Donovan tops MLS All-Stars: Galaxy midfielder Landon Donovan was the top choice of three of four voting blocs for the MLS All-Star starting lineup and will lead the league's top players against London-based Fulham on July 30 in Columbus, Ohio.

Donovan, who was the top vote-getter among fans, media and players, is joined in the starting lineup by goalkeeper Matt Reis (New England), and defenders Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City) and Greg Vanney (FC Dallas), all former UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles

O'Brien, an Irishman, received the most votes from MLS coaches and general managers.
