CARSON - Freddy Adu Fredua Koranteng "Freddy" Adu (born 2 June 1989 in Tema, Ghana) is a Ghanaian-American footballer playing as a striker and an attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Portuguese team S.L. Benfica.  drew the oohs and aahs, but it was another teen phenom, Eddie Gaven Eddie Gaven (born October 25, 1986 in Hamilton, New Jersey) is an American soccer player who plays for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer.

Feilhaber created another goal, in the 17th minute, with a corner kick that T&T defender Radhanfah Abu Bakr knocked into his own goal. John added a second-half goal.

In the opener, Costa Rica surrendered a lead forged on Jose Luis Cordero's 54th-minute goal after Greivin Arce, who created Cordero's strike, was sent off after receiving his second yellow card in the 67th.
