SOAP STARS, STUDENTS IN 'DUNKS OF OUR LIVES'.

GLENDALE - Soap stars and student journalists will meet in an unlikely venue Saturday: the basketball court.

All in the name of charity, stars from ``Days of Our Lives'' and ``Passions'' will face off against each other.

Members of Hoover High School's student newspaper staff will also play on each team.

The Tornado Times staff planned the event to raise money for the Children's Bureau The Children's Bureau may refer to:

``Violence starts from abused children and neglected people,'' said Selin Stepanian, who is the newspaper's entertainment editor and coordinator for the game. ``We thought it would be a good opportunity to raise money and it would be fun.''

A 6'0", 175-lb.  and Travis Schuldt from ``Passions.''

Teck, a former cast member from MTV's ``Real World in Hawaii,'' is also scheduled to appear.

Tickets are $5 before Saturday and $7 at the door. Tipoff is at 7:15 p.m. in the school's gym.
