Bill White, the Diamondbacks' third-round pick in the 2000 draft, will join the JetHawks today but might not play until Sunday. White, a pitcher, spent three games at Yakima (Wash.) building arm strength.

Damon Mashore, who played for Chico in the Western League, will join the JetHawks early next week. Mashore, an outfielder who will be used primarily as a pinch hitter in Lancaster, played with the Oakland A's and the Angels. He hit .331 in 36 games at Chico.

Jay Bell (calf) was supposed to join the JetHawks on Thursday but suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will join the team Tuesday.
