Joining Ms. King will be Dr. Kenneth Kin, the newest addition to SMSC's Board of Directors and former Senior Vice President of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Ltd. (TSMC), where he was responsible for Global Sales, Services and Marketing. Dr. Kin was elected to SMSC's Board of Directors effective January 19, 2009.
