(SMPS--NY) announces a Call for Nominations for its 11th Annual Marketing Awards. The three awards, which honor marketers and their mentors in the New York Area architectural/engineering/construction (A/E/C A/E/C Architect/Engineer/Contractor ) industry, are the Marketing Mentor Award, the Marketing Champion Award, and the Marketing Achievement Award. Some of the previous winners have included Amanda Burden Amanda Jay Mortimer Burden (born 1944) is the director of the New York City Department of City Planning and chair of the City Planning Commission. She is a proponent of revitalizing Lower Manhattan, improving public access to the Brooklyn waterfronts, improving commuter , Richard Anderson, Patricia Lancaster, Daniel Doctoroff, and Arthur Zeckendorf. Nominations are due February 9, 2007. These prestigious awards will be presented at the chapter's annual Honors Event, to be held at the Millennium Hotel in midtown mid·town n. Eligible nominations for Marketing Achievement must come from a principal at the nominee's firm, and the nominee must be a member of SMPS SMPS Society for Marketing Professional Services SMPS Switching Mode Power Supply SMPS Switched Mode Power Supply . SMPS members can nominate their mentors or firm leaders for Marketing Mentor or Marketing Champion awards. The nominations are judged by a panel of senior-level marketers from within the industry.
