ASHLEIGH ON AMERICA: Ashleigh Banfield, the MSNBC MSNBC Microsoft/National Broadcasting Company  correspondent who made a name for herself with her field reporting on Sept. 11, sets out to capture the changes the United States has seen since the terrorist attacks. ``Ashleigh Banfield: On Location'' begins its five-week series tonight in Seattle for a look at border security. On Tuesday she reports from San Francisco on bridge security, and on Wednesday from Los Angeles with a story on protecting the nation's seaports.

The $30 million federal court suit filed last week against Time Warner Entertainment by Gwen O'Donnell claims that an HBO executive had access to her feature script titled ``The Funk Parlor'' in 1999, before the network asked writer Alan Ball (``American Beauty'') to create a series set in a funeral home. HBO denied the allegation. ```Six Feet Under' springs from the imagination of Alan Ball,'' the network's statement read. ``Anyone who suggests otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about.'' The show has 23 Emmy nominations.
