WHAT'S COOKIN'?: Food Network goes west tonight when its ``The Best Of'' series focuses on Los Angeles restaurants. Some viewers may dispute the findings, but then there are soooo many choices and only 30 minutes of airtime. The program gives a thumbs-up to Eurochow's Italian/Chinese hybrid menu and eye-popping decor; Cole's Buffet for its longevity (since 1908 - has anything else out here lasted that long?) and its origination of the French dip; the Standard on Sunset Strip, which went from old-age home to hot spot for the very young; and Johnnie's New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Pizzeria (fine and good, but this is a Los Angeles episode, is it not?). The universal favorite among hot dog lovers, Pink's, also makes the grade. See what you've been missing.
