NO ORDINARY REMODEL: HGTV's crews thought they were documenting just another construction project for their ``Dream House'' series when they focused on the renovation of an 1800s gem in historic Uptown New Orleans. The homeowners, Keenan and Shali Grote, are intent on following through with the construction despite storm damage. The network has fashioned its footage into ``Dream House: After Katrina,'' followed by a related special, ``Historic Homes of New Orleans.''

TEEN VIEW OF KATRINA: Teen-oriented network The N puts its touch on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina with a special episode of ``A Walk in Your Shoes,'' focusing on high-school students coping with upheaval at school and home caused by the storm. Schools all over the country have taken in evacuees and assimilated them into sports and other campus activities. But ``A Walk'' brings it into focus with the touching stories of five individuals from Louisiana making do among new surroundings and acquaintances and longing for familiar people and places.

CBS RE-UPS: New CBS series ``Criminal Minds,'' ``Ghost Whisperer'' and ``How I Met Your Mother'' all have been given full-season orders, and a short order of three more episodes have been given to sitcom ``Out of Practice'' and sci-fi drama ``Threshold.''
