SMALL SCREEN 'ROBOT JONES' BOY HAS A CAN-DO ATTITUDE.

With ``Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?'' creator Greg Smith Greg Smith may refer to:
  • Gregory Smith (born 1983), actor
  • Gregory R. Smith (born 1989), child prodigy and rights advocate
  • Greg Lloyd Smith (born 1962), internet entrepreneur
 has created a character many kids will be able to relate to, the ultimate sixth- grade outsider. In this case, it's an experimental prototype designed to ``interface with humans''; needless to say, Jones' software has bugs in it.

Robot Jones (voiced by a familiar computer program, saving on pesky actors fees) lives in a large metal box abutted by more traditional suburban homes. He has friends, barely, at school. In one episode, Jones goes to gym class - ``Humans look ridiculous; robots are truly superior,'' he observes, wearing a jock strap on his head. He aces the exercises - ``As a robot, I am highly compatible with this objective'' - but then he has to deal with a gym teacher who's a little too obsessed ob·sess

It is especially useful on highly textured surfaces, such as carpets and upholstery, that are difficult to clean by wiping or brushing. .
