NEWHALL - A small brush fire burned Friday afternoon in the Newhall Pass Newhall Pass is a mountain pass in Los Angeles County, California, USA. The fire burned two to three acres of brush and some oak trees, but caused no injuries or serious damage. Firefighters were airlifted into the largely inaccessible canyon. The fire briefly jumped its containment, but the flames were quickly doused.
