 will welcome the news that McCormick & Schmick's has announced it will open in Burbank this fall.

Taking over the former Dalt's at 3500 W. Olive Ave., this will become McCormick & Schmick's 11th location in California. It will carry the restaurant chain's traditional twice-daily printed menu with its 85 or more made-to-order dishes.

The menus also offer a daily fresh list of some 30 varieties of fish and seafood.

Additionally, there are aged steak, poultry, pasta and entree salad items along with wines, cocktails, and bottled and tap beers.

CORAL TREE CAFE: Replacing the longtime Cha Cha Cha in Encino at 17499 Ventura Blvd. is the Coral Tree Cafe.

Coral Tree, with locations in Brentwood and Century City and a future one planned for Westfield's Topanga Plaza, is a casual restaurant with a quasi self-service (order at the counter) approach and a fresh and organic fare direction.

It specializes in panini Panini (pä`nēnē), fl. c.400 B.C., Indian grammarian. His Ashtādhyāyī [eight books] (tr. 1891) is one of the earliest works of descriptive linguistics and is also the first individually authored treatise on Sanskrit.  sandwiches, salads, soups and pastas, while baking its desserts on the premises.

Organic coffees and teas and organic wines are listed, and breakfasts are served from 7 a.m.

Vegetarians and vegans should also find items to suit their needs.
