PUCK'S NEW CUT: Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck's long-awaited second Beverly Hills restaurant (actually his third, Spago being the first and the closed Obachine the second) will open next month in the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, 9500 Wilshire Blvd., with the name Cut, denoting its steak house direction.

Puck will also operate the lounge across the lobby named Sidebar, which will have a menu dubbed Rough Cuts.

TOMMY'S TURNS 60: On May 15, 1946, Tom Koulax introduced his original Tommy's hamburger stand at 2575 W. Beverly Blvd. in L.A.

Known for its messy chili burgers, Tommy's, now with 29 locations around Southern California, will celebrate its 60th birthday Monday by selling its chili-topped cheeseburger and a soda for 60 cents (limit of four per person) from noon to midnight at the original location.
