Lasher's American Steakhouse, 250 E. Olive Ave., in downtown Burbank, across from City Hall, is serving lunch and dinner, has a full bar, presents happy hours from 4 to 7 p.m. and offers nightly entertainment.

Its regional American fare includes Midwestern prime steaks, fresh Pacific seafood, Maryland crab cakes and a cranberry cranberry, low creeping evergreen bog plant of the genus Oxycoccus of the family Ericaceae (heath family). Cranberries are considered by some botanists to belong to the blueberry genus Vaccinium.  meatloaf dubbed ``awesome'' in the Zagat guide.
