The guy who brought us Chuck E. Cheese is opening a novel eating/interactive entertainment and cocktails spot in Woodland Hills called uWink Bistro.

But the recorded phone message answer indicates the place is closed to allow staffers a well-deserved vacation.

Meanwhile, a voicemail reply from an unidentified Maximilian's spokesman said they were considering expansion and ``trying to figure out how to handle the crowds here ... how to accommodate them.''

It seems that Maximilian's may eventually reopen.
