Dmitri Dimitrov, probably the most honored maitre d' in the L.A. area, has left Diaghilev, the haute Russian-French restaurant at the Wyndham Bel-Age Hotel in West Hollywood West Hollywood

Dimitrov can now be found in a similar role at Jaan, the posh Californian restaurant at Raffles L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills Beverly Hills, city (1990 pop. 31,971), Los Angeles co., S Calif., completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles; inc. 1914. The largely residential city is home to many motion-picture and television personalities.  at 9291 Burton Way.

His new job also requires his supervision of the hotel's Writer's Bar.

BRINGING LE PAIN: Belgium's bakery chain, Le Pain Quotidien Le Pain Quotidien, also known as Het Dagelijks Brood in Belgium, is a chain of internationally franchised Belgian bakeries and restaurants. The company was founded by Belgian chef Alain Coumont. , which bakes bread from organic flour, has opened its latest bakery restaurant outlet in Studio City at 13045 Ventura Blvd.

Open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, the new Le Pain serves sandwiches (tartines) priced from $8.50 to $13.50, salads ($4.95 to $15.50) and pastries ($3 to $6.50) plus a soup of the day Soup of the Day is the loosely scripted 2006 internet phenomenon that told the story of one man who is dating three women at the same time.
