SL Green inks 15-year deal with New York Presbyterian Hospital.


SL Green Realty Corp. announced that it has completed a 15-year lease agreement to expand office space currently occupied by New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

Following the expansion, New York Presbyterian Hospital will occupy a total of 232,682 s/f at the building.

New York Presbyterian Hospital is one of the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world, with leading specialists in every field of medicine.

The new lease agreement for part of the fifth floor at 673 First Avenue will be used for administrative and data support offices.

Commenting on the agreement, Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing for SL Green, said, "This lease transaction is a perfect illustration of the strength of relationship with our tenants in which we take great pride. We're delighted to accommodate the long-term expansion needs of New York Presbyterian Hospital--a tenant within our portfolio for many years--at 673 First Avenue."

Located on the northwest corner of 38th Street and First Avenue, the 12-story building contains 425,000 rentable square feet and is located in a favored corridor of Manhattan for New York's medical community.
